Update – Contour, Cronulla
Sitting on the doorstep of Cronulla’s beautiful beaches, sits our project Contour, Cronulla. As we power towards the finish line, it’s all hands-on deck as the project nears completion in the coming weeks.
This past month saw the dismantling and removal of the perimeter scaffold, which unveiled the extraordinary curves on the building façade. The tower crane has also now been removed, making way for the external civil and landscaping works.
It’s going to be a busy May for the Contour team, and we can’t wait to present the fruits of the hard work in in the next monthly update!
Professional Development – Security of Payment Act 1999
Earlier last month, Reform’s Contracts Administration team, Graduates and Undergrad attended a Security of Payments Act Presentation led by Mark Riddington from HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.
Mark led the team through a thorough review of the SOP Act, including its recent amendments. He stressed the importance of ensuring the timeframes mandated within the act are adhered to and provided valuable tips in how to best manage the varying responsibilities required under the Act.
The Reform team left this engaging Professional Development session feeling more confident and informed about their responsibilities under the Act, and how best to manage these. We are constantly on the lookout for ways to enhance our professional knowledge, ensuring our skills are always up to date.
Partners – Dinner
Last month also saw Reforms Annual Partners Dinner finally going ahead after several setbacks due to Covid restrictions.
This night was a fantastic opportunity for the Reform staff and their partners to meet in a laid-back setting. It was also a chance to celebrate a hugely successful time of growth for the company, despite the city-wide lockdowns that brought construction to a grinding halt for a few weeks.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed a brilliant night, filled with lots of laughter and entertainment. The leadership team took this opportunity to recognise the hard work the entire Reform Team puts in daily. The following people were presented awards on the night:
Dara Macauley and Salvatore Macri
‘MVP’: Most Outstanding Performance by Team Member
Jonathan Ryan
‘Rookie of the Year’ & ‘Best Up and Comer and ‘Players Player: Team Voted Outstanding Performance.’
Congratulations once again to Dara, Salvatore and Jonathan – we are so fortunate to have such high achievers as part of the Reform Team!

Spotlight On …
This month we sat down with Jono, our Graduate for a chat about all things Reform:
The things I like about working at Reform
“The people, the culture, the projects. Reform is full of very knowledgeable and experienced people who are always happy to give me advice and guide me.”
And the frustrations are
“No frustrations with the business, only with the issues the industry is facing.”
If I didn’t work in construction I would be
“Becoming a develop/ builder has always been the dream, but if it had to be something else, I would love to own a gym”.
I found myself working at Reform
“Towards the end of my university studies, the opportunity arose with Reform when I sent them a message on Instagram. Reform had always been on my radar for some time prior and I hoped I could be part of their team. Reforms’ projects and their level of quality are what I admire and am passionate about. Absolutely ecstatic that I can now say I am part of this team.”
My proudest moment at Reform
“The awards night was definitely one of my proudest moments feeling recognised and valued by my colleagues.”
The best advice I’ve ever received was
“Always double-check and read over your work.”
My greatest weakness is
“Lack the experience of my colleagues as I am still young.”
My greatest strength is
“Determination and eagerness for construction.”
Covid saw me binging on
“The gym.”
